Meet Director Andy Milligan. It’s not fair to call him the world’s worst Director, but it IS FAIR to ask the question!
Andy Milligan is the Director of such Times Squre grindhouse classics as:
“The Ghastly Ones!”
Yes, this is the film that claims it was shot in “CRANIUM CLEAVING COLOR!”
These are classic exploitation posters of the early 70’s – and these films were shot, on average, in just over a week!
Director Andy Milligan is not as well-known as the “legendarily awful” film Director Ed Wood, but let me tell you, he gives Wood a run for his money – with such “classic” films like this one:
“The Body Beneath!”
The Original “Blue Man Group!”
Don’t even ask about the blue faces…this is a film so bad if must be seen to be believed…but it wasn’t all scary – Director Milligan also loved the sleaziness of Times Square in the early 70’s, leading to his classic film:
“Fleshpot On 42nd St.!”
Yes, as the poster says, it’s “WILDER THAN YOU CAN IMAGINE!”
