A Young Don Johnson Has A Talking Dog And A “Girlfriend” Problem! The Cult Gem “A Boy And His Dog!”

Meet Blood – A Very Smart Dog!

Sometimes a film is discovered long after it’s released – and cinephiles realize they have missed out on a great gem – like the story of “Blood” and his “Master!”

Yes, Blood’s Master is a very young Don Johnson – but the dialogue quickly proves that we know who is REALLY running the show:

Blood: You know, Albert, sometimes you can be such a putz…

Albert: A putz? What’s a putz? It’s somethin’ bad, isn’t it? You better take that back or I’m gonna kick your fuzzy butt!

Blood: [sighs] Yep, definitely a putz.

Great dialogue made better by the fact that Blood is a talking dog!

Things take a surreal turn with the duo stumble into an underground society where the daughter of one of the leaders of the community seduces and lures him below the surface. You see, these survivors have become unable to reproduce because of being underground so long.

So they need Don to solve their problem!
