Cult Movie Queen Luan Peters – In “Flesh And Blood!” My “2020 Sex Kitten Countdown” Has This Sexy “Go Girl!”

Celebrating Cult Movie Queen Luan Peters!

The 70’s was a golden era for cult cinema, and this Actress was in many of the best ones!

My “2020 Sex Kitten Countdown” was designed to put a spotlight on some of cult cinema’s greatest stars – including Luan Peters, who did’t get the attention she deserved!

Time to change that!

Luan Peters had a great career as an Actress, Model and Singer as well!

She broke through in an unusual way: in 1972, she starred in a TV series pilot called “Go Girl”, as a go-go dancer caught up in mysterious stories.

Although the show never went to series, that single episode was
released twice on video in England in the early 1980s, first as “Give Me a Ring Sometime” (the pilot episode title) and later as “Passport to Murder.”

That ill-fated TV pilot led her to appear in a classic 70’s horror gem:

The Flesh and Blood Show!

This 1972 horror film was tells the story of an anonymous Producer who gathers a group of unemployed actors and actresses to be in a play, rehearsing in an abandoned theatre beside the sea.

Of course, a mysterious killer has other plans…here is the trailer:

The plot of the film set the stage for the “gathered teens who all get killed” string of films in the late 70’s and 80’s – classics like “Friday The 13th” and “Halloween”…

Another terrific Cult Movie Queen Judy Matheson was also in the movie. And she had more Luan Peters connections as well:

Peters also appeared in a number of classic Hammer horror films of the 1970s like 1971’s “Lust for a Vampire” and “Twins of Evil” that same year.

Cult Movie Queen Judy Matheson was in both of those films as well:

Judy Matheson had a great career, and still makes tons of personal appearances today! She is also very active on social media and fan conventions as well. See more of Judy’s great cult career here:

As for Peters, she was a popular pinup Model at the time, appearing in a string of magazines like this:

Peters also appeared in the sex comedy “Not Tonight Darling”, as well as 1974’s “Vampira”, which was known as “Old Dracula” in the US.

Peters had an active TV career as well, in such classics as “Coronation Street” and “Doctor Who.”

Peters was an accomplished singer as well, releasing a lot of music both as a solo Artist and as a member of several groups.

Sadly, Peters passed away at the end of 2017, but has left behind a great body of work!

Luan appeared in a number of the classic Hammer erotic horror films of the early 70’s:

These films blended old fashioned horror with a modern, more permissive visual style:

Yutte Stensgaard was also in these films, and she made quite an impression – see more of her blood-soaked work here:
