Time For Some “Adults Only” Entertainment!
Well, I wouldn’t want it any other way – time to take a closer look at “The Blood And Thunder Shocker Of The Year!”
Severin Films has done it again, rescuing one of Australia’s greatest sci-fi thrillers from obscurity – here is the trailer:
“Hunting Is The Sport! People Are The Prey!”
Brian Trenchard-Smith’s outrageous futuristic gore-fest imagines an Australian government concentration-extermination camp, run by the sadistic Michael Craig and Roger Ward, where jaded rich folk come to hunt human prey!
The film stars Steve Railsback, best known for “The Stunt Man”, and Olivia Hussey, star of “Black Christmas” and “Romeo & Juliet!”
This futuristic “women in prison” thriller includes a nude scene with Hussey – because in these films, the prisoners ALWAYS showered:
The film is filled with graphic violence throughout, as the notorious Guards abuse the prisoners for their own fun as well:
Up until this film, Hussey’s only nude scenes were in her debut film “Romeo & Juliet”:
In “Turkey Shoot”, the filmmakers stopped the bloody carnage just long enough to let the cast shower and change – all joking aside, this is a great cult film that delivers!
The music is by the “Mad Max” veteran Brian May and now this classic slice of “Ozploitation” is back in a big way!
Severin Films has once again offered up a treasure trove of extras for movie fans, such as a look at Australian exploitation films, a special feature on the making of the film, extended cast interviews and more!
This wasn’t Hussey’s only exploitation film:
The Actress was terrific in the 70’s shocker “Black Christmas” – see the trailer and more by clicking on my story here:
