Erotic Alien Natasha Henstridge! My “2020 Sex Kitten Countdown” Celebrates This “Species” Star!

Natasha Henstridge! What A “Species!”

As we are in the thick of Halloween season, what better time for my “2020 Sex Kitten Countdown” to celebrate the career of Natasha Henstridge!

Natasha was born in 1974 in Newfoundland, Canada.

She got her start as a model in Paris when she was 15 years old.

She landed her first cover of French Cosmopolitan and soon after graced the covers of many international fashion magazines, as well as commercials for Oil of Olay, Lady Stetson and Old Spice.

Henstridge made her film debut in 1995 – and what a iconic debut it was!

“Species!”

Natasha’s first film was a smash hit, as she starred opposite Sir Ben Kingsley and Forest Whitaker in the sci-fi classic!

A group of scientists try to track down and trap a killer alien seductress before she successfully mates with a human.

Here is the original trailer:

The film was designed to showcase Natasha’s sensuality as Sil, a deadly creature who can change from a beautiful woman to an armor-plated killing machine in the blink of an eye.

The film was a worldwide hit critically and commercially and Natasha received an MTV Award for her performance!

Henstridge then co-starred with Jean-Claude Van Damme in this action film:

“Maximum Risk!”

This 1996 action thriller was directed by Hong Kong legend Ringo Lam.

Check out the trailer:

And what about this plot? A cop discovers that he had a twin who just got murdered in Nice, France. In order to find out who did it, he takes his place – including the girlfriend!

Next up: what else? The sequel to her “Species” debut!

“Species II!”

The 1998 sequel gives Natasha a chance to be brought back – as a savior!

Check out the trailer:

They did a nice job finding a reason to bring Sil back, this time to keep an alien life-force from Mars from taking over the world!

Speaking of Mars, that’s where Natasha headed to star in John Carpenter’s science-fiction thriller “Ghosts of Mars” in 2001, along with Ice Cube and Pam Grier.

In 2176, a Martian police unit is sent to pick up a highly dangerous criminal at a remote mining post. Upon arrival, the cops find that the post has become a charnel house.

Check out the trailer:

The film has a reputation as one of Director John Carpenter’s “OK” films…he made a lot of movies, and not all of them worked.

For Natasha, it was time to go home again…

“Species III!”

The Actress returned to her biggest hit for a third time.

Here is the trailer for the 2004 film, which offers only a fleeting glimpse of Henstridge while introducing a new alien female:

Actress Sunny Mabrey was the new, very nude alien in Natasha’s last chapter in the series.

Henstridge continues to make films and TV shows, with more than 70 credits, and she continues to be in demand as a model as well.

The “erotic space alien” character from “Species” reminded me of this 80’s sci-fi classic:

Remember “Life-force?” It’s a cheesy delight, with wacky special effects and a virtually “always naked” performance by Mathilda May!

She clearly had no problem taking direction! You can see the trailer – and many more revealing photos of Mathilda, by clicking on my story here:

  1. I enjoyed watching her in all the ‘Species’ films. Let’s face facts, they are really only about looking at her! I am not a fan of ‘Ghosts of Mars’. I found it to be ‘set-bound’ and unconvincing. It was like an early Star Trek TV episode; dodgy sets, and a clunky script.
    Best wishes, Pete.
