Celebrating Playmate Linda Summers!
As part of my “2021 Sex Kitten Countdown”, I’ve been profiling some of Playboy’s most popular Playmates.
Some went on to films and TV, while others chose not to – such is the case with Playmate Linda Summers, who was born Linda Taylor on November 20, 1950 in San Diego, California.
Linda’s family ran a health food store and lived on a farm, which was an important aspect of her life…in fact, I found this news article from when Linda was 21 and had just become a Playmate.
As you can see by the article, she was a health nut and the literal “girl next door” that Playboy was known to celebrate!
Linda was chosen as Playboy’s Playmate of the Month in August 1972 – and as you can see from the pictures, San Diego offered a lot of sun and surf opportunities!
So What Happened To Linda?
From this point on, the story turns cold. I couldn’t find any acting credits, or any other modeling jobs…that newspaper article does state that her fiancĂ© was her Agent – perhaps they just decided not to pursue this career…
She has no credits – nothing, just these gorgeous Playboy photos…
