Celebrating the Great Film Career Of Darcy DeMoss!
Here’s a story about a terrific Cult Movie Queen – with a hilarious Marilyn Monroe connection!
Darcy DeMoss was born on August 19, 1963 in Los Angeles, California as Darcy L. DeMoss.
She attended U.S. Grant High School in Van Nuys, California.
Darcy has more than 40 film credits, but 80’s movie fans love how she broke into the business!
Her movie debut came in 1984 in the teen sex comedy “Hardbodies”!
Here is the trailer, which basically promises nothing but bikinis!
Well, except that the bikinis come off and the “hardbodies” in question are put on full display!

As for Darcy, she went on to appear in a ton of great cult films of the 80’s…including a run-in with Jason!
Yes, she took on pure evil in “Friday the 13th Part VI: Jason Lives” in 1986:
That same year she starred in “Reform School Girls” and the following year starred in “Return To Horror High” and “Can’t Buy Me Love”
But she had a much more revealing role in this film:
“Forbidden Zone: Alien Abduction”
Yes, Darcy was in a lot of films, mainstream and cult, and she was fearless to be sure!
Later, she starred in the 1993 erotic series “Eden.”
Meet Playboy’s New Host!
In September 1997, Darcy was hired to host the “Playboy’s Home Shopping” program on The Playboy Channel.
She continues to act, but this was quite a great cult film career!
Because great Cult Movie Queens never stop, she appeared in the 2015 campy horror film “Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No!”

And what about this wild story?
Darcy’s Uncle Fred bought the crypt directly above Marilyn Monroe, and refused to sell it to Joe DiMaggio!
Uncle Fred is now entombed there, face down per his dying request – and I can understand why!
