“Two Swinging Sexetts” Indeed!
I have shared vintage newspaper ads from when I grew up in Seattle…I dreamed of being able to sneak into these theaters to see these films, especially with taglines like that
This was one ad I found, playing at the Seattle 7th Avenue, a single screen movie palace that I saw James Bond films and even “The Godfather”, because my olde Sister took me!
When I saw this ad, I had to find out more about these two films – here’s the story of this wild double bill!
Look at that poster! I love the prurient language they used in it!
The plot is straightforward: When virginal Alexandria returns from school, her randy sisters decide to throw her a coming out party, setting the scene for spicy high-jinks and plot twists galore!
Actress Marianne Lebeau was in the film and Cult Movie Queen Andrea Rau also starred:
This Actress appeared in a number of cult exploitation films and you can see them all here:
So, it seems the film was an easy way to show naked women living wild lives…no problem there!
As for the other film:
Subtle, huh?
The “Stewardess” genre was hot in the 70’s, and this one was more of the same!
Ingrid Steeger starred in this one and did she ever:
The film was clearly just an excuse to show “Stewardesses” in all of their glory, but none of their clothes!

“Swinging Stewardesses” were a classic 70’s genre, shown in grind houses and drive-ins all across America – but they weren’t alone:
Yep, here’s an ad for a triple “Nurses” bill at my local drive-in!
Yep, these nurses really knew how to take care of their patients!
