Celebrating Adult Superstar Jesse Jane!
As part of my “2022 Sex Kitten Countdown”, I have focused on some of the legendary “Cult Movie Queens” – and some of the greatest of the modern era as well!
I want to share the story of Jesse Jane, including my provocative photo shoot with her in Australia!
Jesse was born Cindy Taylor in 1980.
She was what was known as a “Military Brat” and grew up on military bases all across the US, but graduated from high school in Moore, Oklahoma.
Her successful career in the adult film industry earned her the title of “the face of modern porn”
She was selected as “Miss Photogenic” at the 2002 American Dreams pageant.
Her first IMDB film credit is actually in a 2003 TV movie! She was an uncredited bikini girl in “Baywatch: Hawaiian Wedding!”
Once she got into the adult film industry, she quickly became a fan favorite, and she appeared in many high profile adult films of that era, such as this one:
“Pirates” was a big budget costume action movie, with plenty of steamy sex scenes as well…
The film was so successful it spawned a sequel as well:
“Pirates II: Stagnetti’s Revenge”
This was a time when companies like Wicket Pictures, Digital Playground and Vivid were stepping up in a big way in adult film.
With more than 100 credits, Jane was quickly one of the world’s biggest adult film stars. Here are more of her movies:
In 2005, Jesse landed her own show on Playboy TV, “Naughty Amateur Home Videos” and hosted “Night Calls as well.
She wrote for major adult magazines and hosted the 2006 AVN Awards show as well.
She also appeared in a number of mainstream films and TV shows, such as “Entourage” and the film “Starsky & Hutch.”
Jane was Australia’s “Penthouse Pet Of The Month” in November 2010 – when I was in Sydney for the “Sexpo” Adult Lifestyle convention – with my Host, Sasha Grey!
Jesse spent time with Sasha discussing the adult film industry as well as the “Sexpo” convention – which at the time was the world’s largest “adult lifestyle” convention…it was packed every day with people of all ages and sexual preferences – nothing too sexual, just adult lifestyle fun.

I think this was for the Penthouse photo shoot, but we filmed it as a “behind the scenes” story for our TV special as well.
She posed for multiple angles, until she almost had a spill!
She continued to work in the industry, as well as launching product lines – but also spent time out of the business as well.
According to an article in GQ, she officially retired from the business, and now lives in Oklahoma.
he shared some candid thoughts about the adult business:
“A lot of girls that try to get in are looking for extra money. They think, “I can get this money and nobody’s gonna know.” If you come into this industry hoping nobody’s gonna know, don’t do it.”
According to wikipedia, she signed a deal in 2015 for adult toys and merchandise, but retired again soon after.

She had appeared in many episode of the “Wild On…” travel series I created, so I took her to the opening of the Planet Hollywood restaurants in these two cities….and yes, we interviewed some very big stars!

As for Jesse, appearances became more sporadic, because she really felt the adult business changed dramatically in the last few years…as she told GQ:
“The adult industry is just not the same anymore. Don’t get me wrong—I still love porn—but the internet is slowly killing the industry, making it all about shock. “
In early 2020, the Actress was arrested following a violent argument with her boyfriend in Moore, OK.
TMZ reported this: “the adult film star and her significant other had been out drinking when Jane then punched him in the face and bit off a part of his hand. Officers responded to a domestic disturbance call and when they showed up to the residence, the pair were in their driveway while he sported a bloody left eye and there was a bite mark on his left hand.”
Bravo to Jesse for a great career, and I hope that her post-adult industry life is good for her – everyone has personal issues so let’s all hope she’s doing well!
