Susan Lynn Kiger’s Incredibly Provocative Career!
I scour the internet for stories of some of the greatest Cult Movie Queens, and this edition of my “2022 Sex Kitten Countdown” has the story of a Playboy Playmate who was the first ever “X-rated” Playmate!
Called “strikingly sexy and shapely” on a fan website, Susan Lynn Kiger was born on November 16, 1953 in Pasadena, California.
She has that “Southern California” look to be sure, and that beauty took her far – in fact:
Further than any Playboy Playmate had ever gone!
She ended up a Playboy Playmate with photos like these:

Most fans know Kiger as a hugely popular Playboy Playmate – and with photos like these it’s easy to see why:
Susan’s X-Rated Debut!
Here’s where the story gets interesting: the year before she became a Playboy Playmate, Susan made a movie: an X-rated movie!
That means that Susan holds the distinction of being the first Playmate to be featured in an “adult” film prior to posing for the magazine!
The Actress appeared in several great cult films in her career, but it was her debut in the 1976 X-rated outing “Deadly Love” that was controversial – there is very little known about this movie, except that it was also known as “Hot Nasties”…
There are shots online that show her performing oral sex, supposedly from that film…I can’t find any information about the film at all – but the film was rated “X”, and this was before she became the Playmate of the Month in the January, 1977 issue of “Playboy.”
Beyond that notorious debut, Kiger went on to act in a handful of films and TV shows.
Her most memorable movie roles are Sorority Sister Honey Shayne in the raucous 1979 comedy “H.O.T.S.”

As you can see, these cult films made good use of all of Susan’s natural assets, but she also had a real “girl next door” vibe as well:
And Susan played a blue-skinned alien prostitute in the sci-fi spoof “Galaxina” in 1980:
That film starred Dorothy Stratten…I paid homage to her as well:

Kiger also starred in the 1982 horror film “Death Screams.”
That was it for acting: Susan was in some fun cult gems, but she left acting at that point – and will always be known as the first X-rated Playmate!
According to an online database, Susan Kiger now lives in Southern California and works as a hair stylist.

Susan Kiger is the only Playmate who’s Centerfold I was actually able to get autographed. My agency had offices in Hallmarks Crown Center office and entertainment complex when her and Cher Caffaro and crew were here in Kansas City promoting H.O.T.S.. They had a hot air ballon, and were dressed in diaphanous white jumpsuits. Several of us took long lunches to meet and talk with them. I still remember how tall and beautiful she was in the sunlight! I’ve always wondered what became of her. Oh, and she autographed my issue: “To Dale: I have eyes for you!”

How appropriate that Susan would appear in a movie called HOTS because that is just what i had for her for many years! I wish i could find her x-rated movie scene online somewhere. Susan also had some hot scenes in the Andy Sidaris movie “Seven” too. What a body! Susan is totally unforgettable and it’s too bad her acting career didn’t last longer.
