Empowered Cult Movie Queen Hope Marie Carlton! My “2023 Sex Kitten Countdown” Has Her “Hard Ticket” And Playboy Photos As Well!

From Playmate To Picasso Beach!

One of there entertaining aspects of researching my “2023 Sex Kitten Countdown” is looking at the career path of some of our favorite Cult Movie Queens.

They may not be Oscar winners, and they may only be in the business for a few years, but they leave us with lots of enjoy!

Hope Marie Carlton is one of those sex kittens – a fun career in cult cinema: she was born Hope Marie Rizzitano in 1966 in Riverhead, New York.

Carlton began modeling at age thirteen, and I found this on Twitter – she she “Miss Miller Lite” 1990?

Well, before that title, she was a Playmate Of The Month:

Carlton came to national attention just as many have: by appearing in Playboy, which has a history of giving career boosts to the Models who appear in the magazine!

Hope was Playmate of the Month in July 1985. She went on to appear in several “Playboy” videos and special editions of “Playboy” as well.

Then, it was on to the movies, where Hope scored 26 credits…let’s look at some of the most popular:

“Terminal Exposure”

In this 1987 film, two beach combing-shutterbugs accidentally capture a murder on film. Now detectives, the boys set out to capture a murderess shot only from behind, with a rose tattoo on her behind. Which is, of course, Carlton!

Hope For Action!

Carlton portrayed feisty federal drug enforcement agent, “Taryn”, in three popular action pictures for director Andy Sidaris:

“Hard Ticket to Hawaii” in 1987 was the beginning of a great run of colorful action films with lots of explosions, violence and nudity!

Dona Speir starred as well – check out the trailer:

“Picasso Trigger” followed in 1988, with Carlton rejoined by Speir – check out the trailer:

After his brother got eliminated in “Hard Ticket to Hawaii”, a crime lord triggers a ruthless hunt against all agents responsible, and the remaining agents will have to avenge their fallen comrades.

One more Sidaris film was came in 1989 with “Savage Beach” – more of the same, but a successful series of action films with lots of nudity – what more could you want?

Dona Speir was her co-star in these Sidaris films…and like Carlton, she was an empowered kick ass female who gave as good as she got:

You can see more of her provocative film work as well by clicking here:

Now, here’s where the story gets murky: I got this note from a reader of this blog:

“I read that director Andy Sidaris fired Hope after making Savage Beach. He asked her to be in his next film, Guns, but she refused to do any nudity, so he got rid of her. Sidaris said in an interview that she looked good on the screen, but she was difficult to work with. When she refused to get naked one more time, that was the last straw for him. He even told her that’s the only reason he wanted her.”

I couldn’t find anything about a feud between the Director and Carlton, but it is certainly possible that she had grown tired of doing nudity in films…along with her work in those action films, Carlton was also in the 1988 gem “Slaughterhouse Rock”:

A man visits Alcatraz prison after having dreams about all the people who died there. When he gets there, his brother is possessed by an evil cannibal demon.

Guess who he attacks?

Here is the trailer:

Some of you may also remember this memorable – and very very wet – cameo that Hope had in “A Nightmare On Elm Street 4”:

To end this wild run of cult gems in the 80’s, Hope appeared in “Slumber Party Massacre 3” in 1990. You get the idea: some girlfriends all hang out as a psychopath stalks them!

This was just shared by a Facebook fan:

“Hope Marie Carlton did her own stunt in the third Slumber Party Massacre in the scene in which her character crashes through a glass door.”

Nice job Hope!

She went on to appear in many mainstream TV shows and a few more films as well – her final role was in “Hotel Erotica” in 2003.

According to the terrific website IMDB.com, Carlton owned and operated a resort called the “Sorrel River Ranch” in Utah at one point.

Oh and as for the “Miss Miller Lite” image? Look what I found on Youtube!

Aside from that title, Hope left us with some fun action gems – and as with Hope, Director Sidaris also featured this gorgeous Playmate in his films as well!

Roberta Vasquez on the right appeared in a few Sidaris films:

My “2020 Sex Kitten Countdown” had the story of Vasquez, and if you want to see more of her Playboy photos and scenes from these films as well, just click on my story here:

The Sidaris films are now back out in the world to enjoy – starring Actresses like Devin DeVasquez:

She had a great run of films and a provocative Playboy spread as well…shee her story here:
