Looking At the Wild And Controversial Life Of Roxanne Pallett!
One of my friends on Facebook shared this photo – an Actress I had never heard of!
Of course, I was intrigued, because I didn’t know Roxanne, and boy, what a story I had missed!
English actress Roxanne Pallett was also known as Roxanne Carrion – more on that in a moment – and she became a star in the British TV series “Emmerdale”, which aired from 2005-2008.
Her dramatic performances on TV earned her award nominations and critical acclaim – but as well as performing on stage and screen, Roxanne ventured into cult films as well!

Pallett starred in a string of graphic horror films.
In this one, Jason Mewes and Roxanne star as two people who find themselves forced to fight against zombies.

It was her next role that saw her show a much more provocative side of herself…in fact, she showed everything…
In the spring of 2014, Pallett headed to America to make another chapter in the popular “Wrong Turn” horror series, and what a provocative version it was!

Roxanne put it all out there in this gory, sexy thriller…she was clearly not afraid to be provocative in her acting choices…
She continued in the horror sequel genre with another provocative turn:

The Controversial Next Phase Of Roxanne’s Career…
According to reports, it was at this time that her career come crashing down…all because of reality TV!
Reports on this say that Roxanne falsely accused Actor Ryan Thomas of punching her while they were housemates appearing in the British TV series “Big Brother” in 2018.
Here’s what was reported about the alleged incident that occurred between the two on the reality show:
“The cameras caught the entire exchange, where Ryan playfully grabbed Roxanne and jokingly jabbed near her side.
Roxanne went into the Diary Room afterwards and said Ryan had “deliberately” and “repeatedly” punched her in the ribs, branding him a “woman beater”.
After the incident, Roxanne slept in the spare bedroom of the house, claiming she felt uncomfortable sleeping in the same room as Ryan.”
That was a media firestorm that came back to haunt the Actress.
That’s because son after, the ex-Emmerdale star made several TV appearances in which she apologized for lying about the incident with the “Coronation Street” Actor.
Roxanne’s media coverage continued to spiral downward for her. The Sun newspaper reported in January 2019 that Roxanne had been dumped by her fiancé Lee Walton. A source said:
“Roxanne’s whole life appears to have fallen apart in the past six months. Professionally, no one wants to touch her and now her personal life is in tatters.”
What Happened To Roxanne?
It’s not clear exactly why this controversy erupted – while Roxanne has apologized for it, it’s unclear what prompted the charges to begin with – was she just trying to “act out” like many of these reality shows encourage you to do?
Last year, Roxanne reportedly got married to New York Firefighter Jason Carrion, and now lives in the US as Roxanne Carrion.
In a recent interview, the 37-year-old Actress told Closer magazine:
“I’ve met the love of my life and I feel mentally stronger. I truly believe all the negativity I went through pushed me to this point.
“In a way, I’m grateful for all that went wrong, even though it was brutal.
“It was worth all the heartache because now I’m living my best life.”
Most recently, Roxanne was reported to have had a baby, as this pregnancy picture confirms…good luck to Roxanne, who was a fearless actress who had a wild career, and it reminded me of another Sex Kitten I profiled:

Emmerdale is still running here. It has legions of fans, but I have never watched it. As a result, I had never heard of Roxanne at all. Great feature, John.

What’s interesting is because of all of the streaming services, shows like this are now amiable here in the US…years and years of episodes! Still, “57 channels and nothing on” at times!
