Meet Lindy Benson!
I enjoy how many of my Facebook friends share pictures of the great Cult Movie Queens of bygone eras…while they may not have had long careers, their work is still available to enjoy today!
My “2023 Sex Kitten Countdown” Has The Career Highlights Of Actress / Model Lindy Benson!
That’s the case with this Cult Movie Queen – not a lot of films, but fun ones indeed!
Lindy Benson was born in 1953 in Muswell Hill, London, England.
She only had a dozen onscreen credits, but they included some very well known films of that era!
“Intimate Games!”
As you can see from the poster, Lindy was the “exciting new discovery” in the film, which had a plot designed to give all fo the stars a chance to disrobe: A psychology teacher assigns his university class a project about personal fantasies – and they all get hot scores!
I have highlighted several of the other stars of this film, like Felicity Devonshire:
Felicity was just one of the Cult Movie Queens who appeared in “Intimate Games”, but she was in a lot more as well and you can see all of her career highlights by checking out my story here:
Along with her film roles, I found a treasure trove of photo shoots with the Actress, and as you will see, the camera loves her, and she was clearly a popular pinup Model for men’s magazines at the time:
In 1978, Benson appeared in “Adventures Of A Plumbers Mate”, one of those British sex comedies where nudity was plentiful and the laughs were obvious:
The following year she was in “The World Is Full of Married Men”
In 1979 she was in a film with Mary Millington:
“Confessions From The David Galaxy Affair”
Check out this plot: Playboy David Galaxy is a suspect in a robbery case and needs an alibi, and the only credible witness to his innocence won’t help. He also has to prove his mettle with “the only woman in the world who’s never had an orgasm.”
Sadly, that was about it for Benson. She dropped out of the business in the early 80’s, and I didn’t find anything else about her…but she had a great run and bravo to her!

One more great piece of trivia: Lindy was once a private eye in the Fargo agency, a Canadian detective agency – remember I had Playboy’s first Private Eye and was she ever a “private eyeful”:

How about a story on the “actresses” involved in the movie Catch Your Dreams. Came out in the mid-80’s and supposedly was about total strangers, not actors, involved with each other at a foreign vacation home.

I remember Lindy, and saw some of those films on VHS at the time. I had a bit of a ‘thing’ for Heather Deeley back then, and sought out films she was in. I always thought she had a sexy ‘normal’ look, like someone you might actually meet. Here’s a clip featuring her.
