Celebrating The “Perverted” Career Of Emily Booth!
I like to feature empowered women across all genres and eras of cult cinema, and will often come across someone who literally “pops” off the screen – that’s the case with Actress Emily Booth!
My “2023 Sex Kitten Countdown” celebrates the cult film career of this English Actress, who went from TV to film and back again!
Emily was born in 1976 in Chester, England.
She had a love for performing at an early age.
She used to earn money “busking” in the street playing the violin. Soon, her acting career took off and the British Tabloids fell in love with her!
Emily has appeared extensively in UK television/film for decades, starting young as a presenter on popular video game review show ‘Bitz’ in 1999.
This strong start hosting led to appearances on landmark shows such as ‘The Big Breakfast’ and a hosting gig on The Horror Channel in the UK.
Booth has more than 30 screen credits to date, let’s look at some of her most provocative work:
She got her start in 1997 in “Pervirella!” It looks to be exactly what you would expect – and that’s a good thing!
While this is an obscurity to be sure, it’s gotten great reviews and I found the trailer for you to enjoy!
Emily plays the title role, and she has a problem: an insatiable appetite for sex!
In between films, Booth was very active on TV as a Presenter…but nothing could keep her from showing off on celluloid:
She appeared in the 2001 film “Cradle Of Fear”, credited as Emily Boufante…
She was also a very popular Model, appearing across a wide variety of media over the years.

Emily became known as a TV presenter here under the name Emily Bouffante. She was always provocative, and quite outspoken on occasion. Success led to the later change back to her real name, but she had previously migrated from a mainstream TV channel to more obscure satellite stations, and then into the soft porn film work. I hadn’t heard anything about her here for some time, until she became the main presenter on The Horror Channel around 10 years ago.
